Use 8 1/2 X 11 paper and address, in this order, the following issues:

Number
of years at institution; number of years in teaching.

Title
and nature of the research project.

Specific
indication of how the grant will assist in the completion
of the project (e.g., purchase of supplies; travel and
for what purpose; released time from summer teaching).

Tentative
time schedule for the entire project and current status.
-
Some
indication of the anticipated form of the published results
(books or articles) and where the results might appear
(publisher, if known, for a book and journals to which
an article would be submitted).
Note:
Items 5-8 should be given in a narrative of no more than 250
words.
Additionally,
request that two persons who know your scholarly work send
letters of support, also due on November 1, 2002.
